Adding a Printer
Adding a Printer Locate the search bar in the lower left corner of your computer. Type printers and scanners in the search bar. Select Add a printer or scanner. Click Search for devices. Note: If you don’t see search for devices, skip to the next step. From the dropdown menu, choose Work or school printer & scanner. The available printers will be displayed. Each printer should have a cloud icon next to it. Select the printer you wish to add and click Add device. A blue line will go across the screen and disappear once the printer is added.

Xerox print jobs stop showing up
If your using a cloud printer and the jobs stop showing up most likely it is the xerox print and scan experience app causing issues. Go to settings, then select apps, then installed apps. Scroll to the bottom and you will see xerox print and scan experience. Click the 3 dots to the right of the app and select uninstall. Once uninstalled try printing again and you should be working now. If not there may be other underlining issues or you may need to restart.

mic is muted by system settings (Fix)
One of the first things to check is to see if your F4 mic key is lite up. If it is, press fn + F4 which should make the light go away and fix the issue. If that is not the case check out these other solutions. The fix for this varies by win 11 and win 10. I will post screen shot solutions for both. Win 11 Fix through settings. To un mute your mic you will want to click your settings wheel icon. Then click system, After that, select sound. Next you will want to select microphone array If your mic has a line going through it just click the mic icon to remove the line and should now be unmuted. It should look like this once it is fixed. Win 10 control panel fix. More advanced solution. (It the next resolution seems difficult please create an IT Ticket and we would be happy to help. Here are some screenshots on how I fix through control panel Right click on the mic that show the green bars on the right and select properties. Depending on headphones or built in or external camera this could change. If the speaker icon has a line through it click that icon and press ok on any open windows. That should fix it.

Clever Password Expired
These instructions will work for students in grades 2 – 12 and teachers. If you are looking to reset a password for students in grades PreK3, PreK4, K, or 1, please reach out to the Helpdesk. 1. Start by shutting down your computer completely. 2. Turn it back on and log in. 3. When logging in, you will be prompted to change your password. 4. Follow the instructions, and this will automatically reset your password for Clever.
